We have chosen to add to our limited edition range these utterly gorgeous 'Still Life Portraits in Clay' by Penkridge Ceramics.  Each item is a life-sized individual work of art, created in semi-porcelain clay and finished with lead-free glazes. As real fruit are used for the moulds the numbers produced from each are strictly limited and ensure a naturalistic variation in the shapes for each collection. The glazes are adapted using various colours and matting agents, to create the individual surface effect of each piece with up to six different glazes being used on a piece to achieve a particular finish. The final attention to detail is of particular importance and ensures each piece is unique. All the sculptures are hand made and glazed to the highest quality in the artists' English workshop. The pieces make a unique and beautiful gift in their own right, or can form part of a collection which can be displayed and changed to suit the collector's own wishes.
